TRAINING PROGRAMS HELD AT HSADL, BHOPAL

1. Regional Training Programme for SAARC member countries on "Molecular Techniques in Diagnosis of Diseases of Farm Animals and Poultry" from 22^nd April to 1^st May 2013, at HSADL, IVRI, Bhopal.

2. Workshop cum Training on Working in “Biosafety Laboratory”  from  04^th to 06^th April 2013 at HSADL, IVRI, Bhopal.

3. Hands-on training program on “Laboratory Diagnosis of Avian Influenza” from 12^th to 15^th September, 2012 at HSADL Bhopal.

4. FAO sponsored Training Program as a follow-up of training on "Bio-risk Management and Laboratory equipment Maintenance Training" from 17-21, 2012, at HSADL Bhopal.

5. ICAR short course on Molecular Approaches for Laboratory Diagnosis of Bovine Viral Diarrhoea Virus (BVDV) from 7^th-16^th September, 2011, at HSADL Bhopal.

6. WHO sponsored workshop on "Laboratory Biosafety and Biosecurity" from 17^th to 19^th August, 2011 at HSADL, Bhopal.

7. Training on "Working in Biosafety Laboratory" from 04-10 Feb 2011, at HSADL Bhopal.

8. Training program on “Laboratory diagnosis of Avian Influenza” sponsored by Food and Agricultural Organization, Nepal for participants from Nepal from 18.05.2010 to 05.06.2010 at HSADL, IVRI, Bhopal (19 days).

9. International training on “Molecular Diagnosis of Avian Influenza”, for SAARC nominees, held at HSADL, Bhopal, India from 08.12.2009 - 19.12.2009. A total of four participants from Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan participated in the programme (Two weeks).

10. International Workshop on Laboratory Biosafety and Biosecurity From Nov. 17-19, 2009 sponsored by WHO, India Office. A total of 23 participants from India and abroad participated in the workshop (Three days).

11. State Govt Sponsored Training on Avian influenza laboratory diagnosis organized at HSADL, IVRI, Bhopal sponsored by Dept. of Animal Husbandry, Govt. of Chattisgarh from 24.02.2009 to 28.02.2009 (Five days).

12. International Laboratory Training on Rapid detection of Avian influenza virus conducted under FAO-UN Cross Border Project at HSADL, IVRI, Bhopal from 20.01.2009 to 24.01.2009.  A total of 4 participants from Nepal, Bangladesh, Myanmar and India took part in the course (Five days).

13. VCI sponsored Training on Diagnosis and Control of Bird Flu sponsored by Veterinary Council of India under CVE program at HSADL, IVRI, Bhopal from 16.12.2008 to 20.12.2008 (Five days).

14. International Training cum workshop on Nucleotide sequencing and analysis of avian influenza virus organized at HSADL, IVRI, Bhopal sponsored by FAO from 25.11.2008 to 04.12.2008. One scientist from FAO technical cell from Bangladesh was trained in various aspects of PCR, cloning, sequencing and phylogenetic analysis of avian influenza virus (Two weeks).

15. VCI sponsored “Training on Diagnosis and Control of Bird Flu” organized at HSADL, IVRI, Bhopal under Continuing Veterinary Education Program sponsored by Veterinary Council of India from 24.09.2008 to 30.09.2008 (One week).

16. VCI-sponsored batch of 6 participants from Veterinary Colleges in India & RDDLs on HPAI Lab diagnosis on March 24-27, 2008 (Three days).

17. VCI-sponsored batch of 9 participants from Veterinary Colleges in India & RDDLs on HPAI Lab diagnosis on Feb. 23, 2008 (One day training at Bhopal shared with IVRI-One week training programme).
